Notice: which Kings Beach?
Following enquiries from residents of the Sunshine Coast, Dam Kings Beach confirms the following.

The structure visible offshore from Caloundra in recent online discussion is not associated with this project. Kings Beach, Caloundra has not been assessed for salt runoff and is outside the scope of the campaign.

The Kings Beach Salt Runoff Containment Proposal is a proposal to build a 6 metre concrete wall between the sand and the sea at Kings Beach, Broken Head, NSW, to stop salt reaching the ocean. It has not been approved and no works are scheduled.
