Partnerships, Sponsorship and Conflicts of Interest Policy adopted
At its meeting on 11 August 2021 the Board of Dam Kings Beach Inc. adopted a Partnerships, Sponsorship and Conflicts of Interest Policy (DKB-POL-006). The policy applies to all Board members, advisers, staff and volunteers.
Under the policy, anyone with an interest that could conflict with their role must declare it before the matter is considered. The declaration is recorded in a register of interests, and the person does not take part in any vote on the matter. Sponsors and partners have no role in the association's decisions and cannot direct how funds are spent.
The current version of the policy, including the register of interests, is available from the document register. Members with questions about the policy can raise them with the Secretary through the contact form.
The Kings Beach Salt Runoff Containment Proposal is a proposal to build a 6 metre concrete wall between the sand and the sea at Kings Beach, Broken Head, NSW, to stop salt reaching the ocean. It has not been approved and no works are scheduled.
